Sei Bass was founded in 1991 by Martin Petersen (left) after he graduated from the London College of Furniture. He began building hand-crafted instruments out of his flat in West London then in 1993 Sei Bass relocated to Camden as Martin opened the renowned bass guitar shop 'The Gallery'. Since then Martin and fellow luthier John Chapman (right) have built over 500 bass guitars entirely by hand and made to meet the requirements of players from all over the world.
